We’re back from the Thanksgiving break, and speaking of breaks, my Dad broke his foot! Joe and I compare Dad injuries, as his went in for a knee replacement and mine had surgery on a particularly nasty break. I go into detail about the long drive between Albuquerque and Houston, and how it can wreak havoc on a diet (which was otherwise easy to maintain over the holiday – nothing but turkey!)
We talk about diets in general, and how motivation from friends and family can really help. When you’re a work-at-home Dad, it’s sometimes difficult to keep the pounds off.
It’s an abbreviated show this week, and we wrap with news that we’ll be getting the band back together for the Geek Dads @ Home First Anniversary Show next week. Sam Harrelson and Scott Jangro will be joining us for a year-end recap of what’s been happening in our lives, so don’t miss it!
